Sketches from the Studio
Here are a few editorial portraits I’ve worked on over the years! These hand-drawn sketches are a few example of the first step into my mixed media process.
I start with graphite on paper to capture the basics, then refine it over tinted parchment paper before moving into next steps. Drawing by hand with helps me to capture likeness and gives each piece a personal feel. The final portraits can be seen here. Just wanted to share a quick look at what’s been on my table lately!
