Brush Strokes & Exploration
I came across a handful of old ink test scraps, small pieces of paper layered with brush marks and strokes when I was experimenting with wet and dry brushing techniques. I remember being completely absorbed in that process.
A few of these particular tests eventually evolved into final pieces. Looking back at these early marks, it’s a nice reminder of how much meaning can live in the in-between stages, the ones we often toss aside or forget about. I’m learning to hold on to those scraps a little longer.
